Advocate IIButtons not working in dashboard
I have just spent time working on my buttons functionality only to read in a post on the community that button functionality on the dashboard doesn't not work. This doesn't make any sense to me when slicers and visualisation interactivity works, all while button functionality does nothing. Really fustrating when those I am making the dashboards for will not be able to see any of the functionality from said buttons.

It's correct that if you pin a whole report page to a Dashboard then buttons don't work. I guess this is because buttons are often used to navigate between pages or call bookmarks and these are not relevant for a pinned Report on a Dashboard, you can't show the pages or bookmarks on a pinned report page on a Dashboard.
Why do you pin the Report to a Dashboard ? Why not share the Report itself ? In that case all the functionality of buttons work as expected.

JordanJacksonI understand that they would be disabled in that case, it's just fustrating that for my case (using buttoms for menu show/hide) buttons have no functionality. I guess I can just share the report for now, But it is unfortunate that I have to build the slicers seperatly so that they can be shown on the dashboard.
