This known issue has been resolved by Microsoft.Workaround: users can hold the CTRL key while selecting multiple items.
Could you please try again on your end and let us know if you still encounter any problems? If you continue to experience issues, please reach out to the community.
Also note: This is a Button Slicer, introduced and avaiable by default since 2023. It is not the standard slicer.
