I have made a test with the latest version of Power BI Desktop 2.61.5192.541 64-bit (August 2018), everything works as expeted.
Do you use the latest version of Power BI Desktop? If not, please update your Power BI Desktop version.
In addition, you could have a reference of this similar thread which has been sloved.
If you still need help, please share a dummy pbix file which can reproduce the issue, so that we can help further investigate on it? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)

Could you please try add column to category and it should help.
My bullet charts has disappeared in bi service two days ago. It works fine in BI desktop.
