Build Permission - Edit and Save Report Copy Doubts
Hello everyone,
I have been reading about the Build permission and the ability to copy a report to another workspace, but I cant really find an answer to my question.
Is it possible to grant Build access on the dataset level (not on App level) which will give the possibility for Viewer Roles (with addition of Build capability) to save a report to another workspace (i.e: their My Workspace) and not be able to Edit the current Report?
I would like to grant the possibility at workspace level for my Viewer Users to save the report other workspaces so they can do their own analysis on top of my existing report, but not incur the risk that they will edit the original report itself.
Thank you!

HI Anonymous ,
Unfortunately, build permission also means users have edit features to do custom on your report.
You can turn on the 're-share' option and turn off the 'build' option to give users re-share permission without other edit permissions.Build permission for shared datasets (preview)#more-granular-permissions
Notice: you need to confirm users does not have edit permission for these content and group workspace.

HI Anonymous ,
I'd like to suggest you copy the report from original workspace, then enter to permission mange on a new workspace and remove the build permission of other users. After these steps, other users can view copied reports but not has permission to customize them.

I do not think that addresses my goal, so it is not possible to grant an user the possibility to copy the report to another workspace but not modify the existing one?
with the View + Build Role they can edit the original report, correct?- AnonymousNot applicable
