The new card look has a bug in the Power BI service regarding images. They are being cropped and reduced in size. Does anyone know why this is happening?

the new card is currently facing alot of bugs in the march update 2025 and it was all confirmed as bugs from the microsoft support.

The new Card visual is currently in preview and only available in Power BI Desktop. Please note that since it's a prerelease feature, it may exhibit unexpected behavior including image cropping or scaling issues and can be substantially modified before the final release.

Sometimes this can happen when there are changes happening in the power BS service. Hopefully there should be resolved within a day or two otherwise you can log a support ticket. https://aka.ms/FabricSupport
