Bug with KPI visuals on Power BI service?

Hi, 

 

I think the KPI visuals are broken on the Power BI service below my explaination: 

 

My report has about 15 KPI visuals on the homepage this visuals can be filterd with 3 slicers on canvas.

Slicers: 
Region

City

Quarter Year

 

The scenario: 
I select 2020 Q3 and al KPI visuals are filtering the correct data/values but then i select 2020 Q4 the KPI visuals keep showing the same values as in 2020 Q3. this is strange because 2020 Q4 does not have any data right now. 

Same happens when i select 2020 Q3 Region Europe then KPI visual for KPI X shows data and if select Region Americas the KPI visual KPI X should be empty but shows the same value as for Region Europe. 

On the Power BI Desktop it works perfectly fine and was working for year now. 

Also checked what happens when the measure is shown in a Card visual: This works both on Desktop and service.

I did the following to see if i can fix the issue: 
- Cleared my cache 
- Used another browser 

- Other user has tested it on his PC

- Uploaded a different / new report with the same visuals

- nothing has changed on the data model

It is connected to Power BI DataFlows and the source is Sharepoint.

    HI Anonymous ,

     

    It appears to me that you have done most of the routine stuff that should have given you a better result.  I am wondering if the card and/or the date slicer has a filter on it in the filter column that would be "overriding" the change(s)?  Perhaps a filter that only allows up to a certain date?  That seem unlikely but worth a shot.

     

    Since you have cleared most other possiblities.  Try this and see what happens - save the desktop file with a different name for testing.  And, publish it to the same workspace that you have your current report.  See if that one acts any differently.

     

    If that works, let us know.  If not, I think you may have to open a ticket because this seems odd.  And, if you open a ticket, let us know the resolution to help others in the future!
