Bug or intended? - refreshing tiles

Hey all;

Have a concern about dashboard tiles refreshing from powerbi reports.  I notice that the tiles work fine until I adjust a filter on the report that tile is referencing.  

IE.  My report has a monthly sales card that is pinned to a tile.  The filters on the card include the month.  Thoughout that month the tile refreshes just fine.  

however, as soon as I change the month filter the tile will not refresh.  I have to remove the tile and re-pin it.

Can you please clarify few queries on this issue.

1. Data Source

2. Connectivity Mode (Import/Direct Query)

3. Is the Filter available in Report/Dashboard

I am thinking that you are applying a filter on report level and after that pin the tile to the dashboard. If this is the case it won't change the data. Becuase the filter in Report level, so to avoid that you can click on "pin a live page" and try to re-pro the issue.

Note:- we can't directly pin a slicer to the dashboard.

Thanks for the reply... SQL direct query is what I'm working with.  The filter is indeed available in the report.
