Bug in custom slicer

Hi i have custom slicer which is shown below which stores the cash memory fro the pre seleceted period when i published the report that means it set into ( 1st of Jan to 25th Aug, asssuming i published the report on 25th. The problem i am facing is the slicer is not updating the rest of the days in month of aug auomatically which created a confusion in revenue reports. Is there a way to automatically reset the period in slicer so that after each data refresh the time slicer selects the maximun period available in slicer??
