Bug: Filters are not working properly

I have a table visual, All dates are dates (not date time).

User changes filter on UTM Source, lets call them utm1 and utm2, user sets utm1 and utm2, it shows value

she then removes utm2 and adds it again, and the value is different

this doesn't make sense, I can't reproduce at my end on the service.

I'm on UTC Local, User at Eastern NA

it doesn't make sense that it would happen, service is UTC, the columns are dates only, I told them to use last calendar month instead, but it doesn't make sense.

the measure are just calculate sum + userelationship

I have a video of it in real time happening

also where are you supposed to report bugs as a non enterprise peasant?

All dates are dates (not date time)

They may be formatted as Date but under the covers it's always DateTime.

If you have a Pro license you can open a Pro ticket at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/newsupportticket/powerbi
Otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .

I know this might be suprising to you, but I know what I'm talking about, they're date.

and regardless of dates, why removing and readding one exact filter (text) affect this?

I tried the support yesterday, it asked about contract id, I'll use fabric trail for this i guess.

Date is just a format. The column type in Power BI / Vertipaq is always datetime.

Okay, I'm a stupid liar and they're all datetime, sure.

can you, in plain english, explain to me how that value is being affected when removing and reapplying the same exact utm filter without touching the date time columns? and why it would it only happen at one person, not at my end of the service?

I understand being skeptical to "omg i found a bug" posts, doesn't mean you turn off your brain and auto assume that it is always a PEBCAK.

Yeah I did before I posted here Bug: Filters are not working properly - Microsoft Fabric Community

I ended up just activating fabric trial and message them this morning, got connected to one of M$ external vendors, sent him the videos, showed him everything, but doubt anything will come out of this since it isn't reproducable even by me, and even for the user who found this issue, it isn't consistent.

just leaving this up maybe someone faced something like this since I'm curious given that it makes no sense.

thanks for your time, and please don't assume everyone is a beginner just because they posted on the forum.
