There are a couple of ideas posted on ideas.powerbi.com for what you are trying to do.
In the meantime you can achieve that with separate slicers and using the fact that Power BI remembers a slicer selection title. So you can create a calculated column that replaces your most recent timestamp with "Latest transaction date", and then use that calculated column as the source for your slicer etc.
