Blank Section and Report Names in Usage Metrics Reporting

Hello,

 

My team and I started to dig into the built in PBI usage metrics that are available. After saving a copy of the report to allow us to edit and build our own view, we have found cetain instances where there is etither a blank report name that is showing views and Section Names (Pages) that are blank but show page views. Does anyone know what these blanks indicate? Are these views recorded for the reports/pages that no longer exist on the workspace?

    Hi pc23

    Yes, you are correct. The report existed, received some views, and either the report was moved to another workspace or deleted. Therefore, it couldn't find the object reference, so it is showing as null.
