Blank Dataverse sourced Report

Hi, I'm very new to Power BI and I can't figure out why our report keeps showing blank on my end.

I have a Power BI report whose link can be accessed from a Power App. When other users click the link they are shown the report with up to date data. However when I click it or try to access the report directly, it shows total blank data everywhere. I don't understand I keep refreshing the semantic model and I am an admin with all permissions but it shows me nothing.

Hi @r3vlock

Even though you mentioned having admin permissions, it's crucial to ensure that you have the necessary access rights not just at the app level but also within Power BI and Dataverse. Could you confirm if you have been assigned the appropriate roles in Power BI service that grant you access to view the data?

If Row-Level Security is implemented on your report, it could restrict the data you see based on your user identity. It's worth checking if RLS policies are affecting your view.

Since the report is accessed through a Power App, ensure that the app's configuration hasn't restricted data visibility based on user roles or other criteria. This might require checking the app's settings and possibly consulting with the app developer.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for this, after looking further into it I discovered I actually had access to the data after filtering the dates one by one. The main problem is actually the data from dataverse being pulled and displayed in the report is far from the actual data (I have thousands of records from 1 table and its only reflecting a few hundred thats why most of my filters showed blank)

I have constantly refreshed the semantic model and the report as well as checked the connection statuses  but it's still not reflecting all the data. Do you have any idea why?
