Big Discrepancies between Service and Desktop

1. Verify Data Source Credentials and Privacy Levels - Ensure the Power BI Service is connecting to the correct data with consistent privacy settings.
2. Sometimes partial or silent refresh errors cause unexpected results. Check refresh history under your dataset settings.
If the issue continues even after checking all the above aspects, I recommend raising a support ticket with Microsoft for a deeper investigation.

Thanks for your help.
1) I refreshed the Desktop version after publishing but the results are still there.
2) Thanks for the suggesion, I marked it as date table.
3) I know that there might be smaller differences due to the local time vs UTC. However, I don't think it's the case here. We are talking about very big gaps between the two versions.
Unfortunately I tried your suggestions, but they didn't solve the problem
