Bi permissions error after configuring gateway (in standard mode)

After setting up a Gateway in standard mode, we are encountering an error with Bi re: permissions. No one I have spoken to in Bi has seen this same error before. We have confirmed all data sources are properly connected so this issue is the only one preventing us from refreshing our reports. The error message is as follows:

You do not have privileges to perform this operation.. The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Please review the error message and provider documentation for further information and corrective action.

Can you please share more detail information to help us clarify your scenario? It will help with troubleshooting your issues.

Troubleshoot gateways - Power BI#refresh-history 

What type of device did you host the power bi gateway? Can you confirm these gateway client has configured/installed by the user account who has corresponding operation permissions on your device? Any specific firewall rules or network policy enabled that may block the gateway client requests?

Hi Team,

The issue was with the permissions within the query editor; in addition to the dataset settings, I also need to resolve all table permissions within the query editor. I almost have the table permissions resolved using my creds for each data source. Thank you for your help.

Is this an update or new installation of gateway ?

Are you able to test all datasources after installation of this gateway ?

Is Power BI Gateway user has some permission revoked ?
