I need to share a report page on a screen in our office and I'm wondering what is the best way to ensure that the data showed is always updated.
I've done 2 versions of the report for testing. One with import and the other with direct query.
I have tested the import version with scheduled refresh. I am displaying the page in the app, but the page will not refresh itself when the scheduled refresh is done.
Should I create a dashboard pinnign every tile individually? Due to the limited design capabilities (or my lack of ability) I'd prefer to show the report page.
On the second version of the report with direct query, I can see that the result is the same, the report page on the app will not refresh automatically when the data changes.
How are you guys managing this?
Thank in advance

Hi @setis ,
You can follow these steps to try based on DirectQuery mode:
1. Update power bi dekstop to latest version April 2020 and enable 'Automatically page refresh' in Options and settings.
2.Restart power bi desktop, you will find Page refresh menu under Format option:
3. You can set refresh duration but please note that the duration in power bi desktop is unlimited while after you publish this report to power bi service, the minimum refresh interval is 30 minutes. If you have premium capacity, you can set the minimum refresh interval as 1 seconds.
For more information about automatically refresh, you can refer this microsoft document, it explains the difference and limitations between desktop and service in details that hopes to help you too:
Automatic page refresh in Power BI Desktop (preview)
In addtion, if you jsut modified data, it will reflect in apps. However, if you add some other visuals in a report, you should update this app to see the latest visual.
