Hello,
We are currently trying the usage of Cortana on SSAS Tabular Model of SQL Server 2016.
Is there any best practice to respect when developing our model? How could we proceed to increase the quality of question proposed by Cortana?
Regards,
On Power BI Service, when enabling Q&A and Cortana for SSAS Tabular data source, Power BI will creat an index of your data source and uploads a subset of that data to Power BI to enable asking questions. You don't need any additional design in your model. When using Cortana and Q&A, please ask question clearly and understandable. To make it more efficient, you may create answer page for Cortana and set featured questions for Q&A.

Thank you very much for this clear answer. So as I understand there is an uploaded subset of data in Power BI service now but what kind of data? The values are imported or just the cube structure (dimension, fact attributes...)?
Is there any best practice regarding the Enterprise gateway and Cortana? Does it take any resource on the server hosting the gateway?
Regards,
