Hello Everyone,
I am looking to get a (best practice) guide on certification criteria (report, datasets etc) ?
There are many sites on the internet that give steps to certify but nobody describes how/what the certifications criteria to certify the items (e.g. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-setup-certification).
Being in the data science field, a measurable set of criteria is where we want to land for assessment and monitoring of certification conformance.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks,
Bhupendra
You need to have data stewards that have no technical bias (ie they cannot be the "owner" of the to-be-certified data domain.)
You need to have tools like Collibra or Purview that help you inventory the certified data domains.
You need to have a rigid process for review and decertfication. If the developer/dataset owner as much as coughs quietly this has to lead to an immediate decertification of their dataset.
