Best options to Export Power BI report to PPT

Hi,

I’m looking for the best approach to export a Power BI report to PowerPoint. I’ve tried the default export options for PDF and PPT, but encountered limitations when exporting hierarchical data.

Could anyone suggest effective methods or workarounds for this? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can directly usePower BI PPT connection described here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-power-bi-powerpoint-add-in-inst...

Using this option will aloow you to have the same report in PPT.

Otherwise, here’s no perfect native PPT export for hierarchical data, you have to choose the least-bad option based on what “hierarchy” means in your case. For exporting cases the best option is always using a Paginated Report instead of Power BI.

I’m looking for the best approach to export a Power BI report to PowerPoint.

By far the best approach is not to do it at all. Consider live embedding or linking instead.

Hi @ShailajaPodili

Have you considered the Power BI add in for Power Point?

It allows you to embed a fully functional report in Power Point.
