Best Practices for Report Ownership - Service Account

In order to ensure reports continue to work after the developer leaves a company, I would like to have a service account with a PowerBI Pro license have access to the underlying datasources, own the semantic model and the report. 

 

Is there and licensing implications with this or any other caveats?

 

What is the best practice for report ownership and maintaining reports after developers leave?

    Hi PLiauq ,

     

    Avoid developers developing in my workspace, all other workspaces can be shared properly and permissions change with the roles of the workspace.
