Bad Request Error (400) - Personal Gateway

Hi there,

I have a problem when trying to add Personal Gateway to my PC. I have designed a dataset / reports in the Desktop app and successfully published them to web Power BI, however now i want to schedule the updates for the web.

I am not using direct query as desktop app did not allow this due to multiple databases connections used so it's diesgned in Import Mode. Therefore I assume it's the Personal Gateway I need. So I did install it however when logging in within the Gateway I get the Bad Request (400) error.

I have seen a previous similar post and that one suggested that wrong type of "account" is used i.e. work/school/personal but I cannot see this setting anywhere in the Gateway or Desktop BI nor web Power BI. Please let me know what I can do here.

    It should be Windows credentials. You should be able to edit the credential when you open the Personal Gateway on the environment where it's installed.
