Azure usage with powerbi

Hello, I am working for a client who is having having 20 azure subscriptions. Each subscription is having different resources. We are using power bi for billing.

Recently, We on boarded couple of applications and usage of App insights went way too high. With that consumption cost also went too high.

I was asked to come up with some thing in power bi to notify when there is a drastic increase in consumption.

Is there a way to identify/notify, when ever there is drastic change in cost? Any ideas?

Hi @mrvamsidhar,

What you need to do is to use auditing with Power BI to monitor and investigate activities taken, this way, you can analyze which activities of Power BI cause the increase in consumption of Azure.

For more details about auditing in Power BI, please review the following blog.
