Have been trying to connect Azure stream analytics to PowerBI, with output as PowerBI. When authorized, get an unknown error saying - "Failed to load your Powerbi workspace". I have admin access to the workspace in Power BI. The Power BI workspace am trying to connect to is in https://app.powerbigov.us/ Not sure if there is any different setting.
Hi @shanawazsheriff ,
Based on your description, here are my suggestions.
1. Please click on the job output and change the authentication mode from `manage identity` to `User token`.
2. Do you just have default workspace i.e. 'My workspace' in your Power BI? If so, please create a new workspace from PowerBI.com portal with name relevant to you business reports and usages.
3. Have you tried to use Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) license then connect Azure stream analytics to Power BI?

Hope that's what you were looking for.

Hi @Anonymous -- Thanks for your reply!
1) Yes, am using 'User Token' authentication.
2) Yes, I have other workspaces in Power BI where I have contributor or admin access.
3) I thought connecting ASA to Power BI was a pro feature? Does it need premium capacity?
Any other thoughts or pointers to check, please? This is on a government Power BI and Azure tenant. Am assuming, this might not be the cause of the issue. Please let me know if any additional details will help. Thanks again!
Did you ever get this fixed? I'm hitting the same issue.
Seeing the same issue
I am using user token and both defaul My workspace and anothe workspace do not work.
@rback Hi, If you are trying to connect Azure stream analytics from Azure Private to Power BI government, that is not possible as of today, this has been confirmed by Microsoft support. If it is not Power BI government, then the issue could be something else. Please check.
