Azure guest users from one company cannot access Power BI Reports

Hi,

I have a Power BI report used by many different Azure external guests however recently a new company needs access and we cannot get it to work for them.  They are setup exactly the same way (multiple accounts) yet get the error 'Sorry couldn't find your app, it may have been deleted or removed'.

Is it possible that their company has done something to disable access from their side? I notice that when logging in to the chrome session, they use MFA, could this affect anything?

  • Ok we found the issue. the RLS Security groups for that one company were also being used to restrct their access to Sharepoint.  Somehow these were working against each other. Once cleaned up it is working as expected.

    Hi Mo-PHAT ,

For guest user sharing. The following prerequisites must be met in order to share with external users.

    • The ability to share content with external users must be enabled
    • Guest users must have the appropriate permissions to view the shared content

Also, have you checked the setting of your admin portal?

For more details, you can read below document:

Distribute content to external guest users with Azure AD B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,
    Henry

Is the guest user need to have pro-license to access report ?
