Hi,
I am using Power BI Pro to connect to a number of Azure Analysis Services databases that contain Dynamics 365 (Sales) data sources using the D365 connector and a logic app that automates processing periodically throughout the day.
To authenticate the D365 data source connection I currently use a normal organisational account but this is not ideal and some of the security policies and rules we are implementing will prevent this account connecting via automation.
Therefore is it possible to authenticate a Dynamics 365 Sales datasource using an Azure App (SPN)? I currently authenticate this way when connecting to Azure Analysis Services from the Logic App but have not found a way to authenticate a datasource this way.
Any other suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Wayne
