Azure AD Security Group not understanding behavior

Hello Community,

I have invited an external into our tenant, the person has accepted and I have added the person to a security group.

I have NOT added the security group to the workspace but I have added the security group to an audience during publishing of my app.

If I right click the dataset and go to 'Manage permissions' I can verify that the security group has been granted both App and Build permissions.

Yet the user cannot see the any of the content ? Does groups / users HAVE to have full workspace access?

Hi  @BIanon ,

Whether this external user is granted a Power BI Pro license after joining the tenant, if your content is not in the Power BI Premium capacity, the user will not see the content without a Power BI Pro license
