Azure AD Group members able to view Power BI report after removing the group from "Direct access"

Hello.

I added an Azure AD security group into the "Direct access" section so they can view a secured embedded report in a website. The group was not added any access to the workspace.

I then removed the Azure AD group access from the "Direct access" section, and ensured access was removed from report and dataset.

Why would the user still be able to open up the secure report link and view it? Could this be a lagging issue between Azure and Power BI Service? It's been over 30 mins and the users in the Azure AD group can still view the report.

Thanks.

Hi @jakesh

It might possibly be some caching that is going on where potentially the user has got his log in details cached in his browser?

@GilbertQ I don't believe so. I've tried many times using Incognito mode in Chrome, having to put in user name and pw every time.
