Automatically export usage metrics of report
Hi all, For auditing reasons we have to export the PowerBI usage metrics of certain reports each month. We are wondering if it would be possible to automate this export process to Excel in a spec...
We have processes running daily that use the Datasets - Execute Queries In Group - REST API to run queries against the Usage Datasets and extract the new data in the datasets. It works really well, but its still unfortunate there isn't a more basic way to get this data. If you want to experiment with it there is a connector in Power Automate for this API call.
