Is it possible to create workspace name prefix as "DepartmentName" by default when user trying to create workspace? Ex: FIN - Quaterly Reports. FIN should be default to the Finance team users and next whatever the user wanted to name the workspace?
We don't want to restrict the users to not able to create the workspaces but wanted to implement this.
I know SharePoint Workspaces can integrate with M365 Team based names as Prefix. But is it possible to do in Power BI Service? If anyone implemented this type of default Prefix (DEPT NAME based on Dept of user) please let me know the process and steps.

Hi @vamshivanguri ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric community. @GilbertQ , is correct that Power BI does not currently offer a built-in method to enforce workspace name prefixes during creation. Thank you for the prompt response, @GilbertQ .
However, here are some potential workarounds.
I hope these alternatives are helpful. Please try them if possible.
If my response solved your query, please mark it as the Accepted solution to help others find it easily.
And if my answer was helpful, I'd really appreciate a 'Kudos'.

As far as I'm aware, it is not possible to automate this process. You would have to do it manually. You can create a vote for an idea here. https://aka.ms/FabricIdeas
