Hello,
we are using a web source in PowerBI to fetch data from our own web service. Apparently the refresh fails when we use PowerBI Service. On our server, I see that PowerBI is closing the connection prematurely. This leads to the error code 499 (Client Closed Connection) and the refresh fails.
If we use PowerBI Desktop the refresh works perfectly. If we manually refresh the dataset in PowerBi service it works perfectly.
We request the webserver several thousand times. Basically there is a function that requests data for a specific time with some parameters from the webserver. The function is called for every row for every day for the complete last year 2019 and for every day in the current year. The data is returned as CSV.
The error from the PowerBi refresh:
Fehler bei der Datenquelle: | {"error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","pbi.error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"Message","detail":{"type":1,"value":"There were more columns in the result than expected."}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: Products - Feed. |
Cluster-URI: | WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-redirect.analysis.windows.net |
Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?
Thanks!
Chris
