Automate export into Teams channel
We are looking to automate a Power BI export to a channel in MS Teams a few times a day.
I know there is a Power Automate connector that lets you export a report, we can then grab the exported file in Power Automate. My question is:
- It appears this requires more than a Power BI pro license, we are using a pro license and Power Automate free. do we need a Power BI premium license along with Power Automate free to implement this?
- Is the above the only way to accomplish this. Namely, using Power automate

Looks like you need a Power BI Premium capacity, the Power Automate connector is standard (i.e. free):

This restriction also applies to the underlying REST API:

Can you clarify what you mean by "export a report"? Do you mean exporting the PBIX file? Or do you mean posting a link to a refreshed report in Teams? Or do you mean exporting the underlying data to a file? Or something else?
We have a table visualization that has data and we want to export the data in it to a pdf file.
