Solved: Automate Deployment Pipelines

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how to automate my deployement pipeline and if it was possible to add a step in addtion to Dev/Test/Prod ?

you can read all about deployment pipelines automation in this article.

Basically, almost all the main operations available in the UI are also available with APIs, so you can create pipelines from scratch and deploy content only with APIs.

Also note we've just released an ADO extension, you can check it out.

Power BI deployment pipelines in Power BI are limited in their extensibility.

You can build your own deployment pipeline using Azure DevOps (https://dev.azure.com/) connected to a Git repository that you can use to version your reports.

Using the Power BI API's you will be able to create custom deployment pipelines with as many environments and controls as you would like.
