Hi All,
we have a dashboard running in the Power BI web service which displays tiles from several different reports. When each report completes a refresh of the data the dashboard displays the most up-to-date data, unfortunately when a user clicks on the tile to go to the report the report page still has the old data from the previous refresh. Is there a way to auto-reload visuals in the Power BI service after a data refresh so the user sees the latest data immediately. Our set up is as follows:
Dashboard displayed on a touchscreen
Power BI web service open in Chrome in full screen mode
Report is caching old data even after a refresh
Only way to get the latest data into the visuals is either wait an age or do a manual reload of the page in the browser
Manual reloads are not an option as this takes the environment out of full screen mode and the users don't know how to put it back
I have Auto Refresh Page configured in my reports as some queries are direct queries, but even with it set to 15 seconds it is not helping
I have tried an extension in Chrome, but that takes the dashboard out of full screen mode
It is a pity the Power BI Windows App has been depreciated, that looked like just what we needed. Any help or points in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
