Auto Refresh timestamp as label in report
Hi guys,
I have a report which is auto refreshed every 3 hours and I don't see any options to show this on the report itself. How would one implement a simple label like "updated on 4/16/2020 4:00 PST"?
Ideally I need same text as in this picture but in report so my users don't check dataset settings to find it

Perhaps create a column in one of your tables that is simply:
Column = NOW()
This should get recalculated as part of refresh. Then just add this to a Card visual using MAX aggregation.

so if refresh fails the column will not be populated as well, keeping prev date?

Only when your data is successfully refreshed, the new refresh time will be displayed, otherwise it will be the original old data
In addition ,you also can start in Power BI desktop with “Get data”, “Blank Query”. Here I enter
= DateTime.LocalNow()If help ,refer this post.
