We are using Power BI premium capacity to deploy reports in our organization. My question is when we embed reports (which use Direct Query) in an application and have 1-minute auto refresh frequency set in the app.
1. Are we charged based on the number of report renders (refreshes)?
2. Is there a limit to how fast we can refresh the embedded reports which use Direct Query?
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,
1. The short answer is yes. It is charged based on a page renders’ range at peak hour. For more details, you can refer to the whitepaper: Plan capacity for embedded analytics with Power BI Premium
2. If your dataset is configured for DirectQuery connection, datasets are refreshed when interaction with the data occurs, or you can manually adjust the refresh frequency(from 15 minutes to weekly ) in the Scheduled cache refresh option in the Power BI service.
