Authentication setting is not applied

Hello everyone,

 

I created a data source (web) in Power BI Desktop and published it successfully.

In order for this to automatically update in PBI Online, I need to add authentication.

A connection is entered under data gateways and I wanted to specify the authentication method in the settings.

 

However, it doesn't take over when I click "Save". Nothing happens.

When you click "Close" the settings are reset.

What could be the reason and how do I get the authentication carried out.

    Hi, dwauer 

    After testing, this side can configure Gateway normally, you can try the following methods to solve the problem.



    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
    2. Use another browser or incognito mode.
    3. Make sure that the Gateway is configured correctly and that the data source settings in the Gateway match those in Power BI Desktop. you can refresh the status in On -permises data gateways to see if the Gateway is functioning properly
