Audit Log for Analyze in Excel Usage

Is it possible to gather stats for users that are accessing a data model only using the Analyze in Excel functionality?

    Hi there

    Yes it is certainly possible.

    In the audit log, the operation you are looking for is called: Analyzed by Excel

     

    Here is an example of my report that I created.

      Thank you for the super quick response! 

       

      I did some checking and was able to see the extensive list of Power BI activities to pull audit data from.  However, I can't seem to locate the specific one you listed below - Analyzed by Excel

       

      Below is a screenshow showing two activities that seem similiar to Analyzed by Excel.  Could Analyzed Power BI dataset be the same thing?  Thank you!!
