Microsoft EmployeeAssistance Needed: Missing Report in Power BI MSIT Workspace
Hi Team,
I need assistance with our Power BI (msit.powerbi.com) workspace. The data model is available, but the report is missing. Could you please advise on how we can regenerate or recreate the report from the existing dataset?

Hi v-sunitkumar ,
Once a semantic model is deleted in the Power BI service, it cannot be recovered unless the workspace is using CI/CD or source control in Fabric. If there is no backup PBIX file for the semantic model, the model itself cannot be restored.
If you do have a PBIX copy of the semantic model, the correct approach is to republish the model first and then reconnect any report to it.

A report does not need to exist.
Go to the semantic model and click the "Create Report" link.

v-sunitkumar You will likely need to open a support ticket for this issue. How was the model and report originally created, via Desktop or in the Service or ?

Otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .
