Assign Pro License to Demo Account for Use by Potential Clients

Hi,

 

I want to embed a Power BI report in my company's website that requires a pro license to access. The purpose of this report is to showcase Power BI & Power ON functionality to prospective clients.

 

Based on this, does it fit within your T&C's to let non-Power BI Pro users use the demo account (from my company's AD)? They would have no other accesses other then viewing the one report.

    Hi, sconnellprima 

     

    It is unsupported to achieve your requirement. A Power BI Pro license is based on Per-user. It enables a user to collaborate with other Power BI Pro users by consuming content from, and sharing content with other users with a Power BI Pro license. Only users with a Power BI Pro license can publish content to app workspaces, share dashboards, and subscribe to dashboards and reports.

    Hi,

     

    as far as i know it's not allowed to share an account. The License you assign to a user is for personal use only.
