Are there any announcement about "Model size increase to 1 GB" ?

I want to verify "Model size increase to 1 GB" of Power BI Service.

Blog "Cloud Platform Release Announcements for April 27, 2016"

Stetement "Model size increase to 1 GB quadruples the model size supported in Power BI, in response to user feedback."

in "Power BI Service | GA" section.

Verify Points:

  1. Dose "Model" mean "Data Set" ?
  2. Dose "Model size" mean the "size" column of "Personal Stoage" ?
  3. How can I check "Model size increase to 1 GB" ?

1 GB is awesome.

I want to share more details with out customers.

Yoshihiro Kawabata

Model size most likely corresponds to the size of the data model (i.e. the size of the pbix (Power BI Desktop) file).

Hi, wonga.

Yes, I think too.

Now, I want to know more official information about "Model size".

Hello @yoshihirok, could you confirm anything about this? because I was testing this and it is allowing larger models up to 250 MB. Then I need to know if there is a new limit or if there is no longer any limit on the Datamodel Size. This is a very important topic for me.

Hi, @alexanderg

Thank you for your reply.

No, I'm looking for anything about this.
