Hello all,
I am having issue on setting up the connection on gateway to one of the dataset in pbi service.
When the dataset is uploaded to service, I wanted to update the gateway and schedule refresh however, even after selecting the gateway on the drop down, it will not allow me to click hte 'Apply' button and further down the 'Refresh' button is also greyed out.
I don't understand what happened.
Can someone please guide me what the solution would be.

Appreciate your time.

I finally have solution to my problem.
I had previously the power bi dataset sources coming from two diffrent servers in the same report. Then, I switched them to make sure they all are coming from same server, saved the report and published. Finally there is no issues or errors on connecting to gateways like before.
It really makes me relief now.
Appreciate everyone for their valuable comments and inputs.
Thank you,

My issue is not being able to authenticate the source, not sure why? The source is working fine in the desktop but when I wanted to add the source to the gateway, it is not accepting, why?
Hi,
Looks like there is some issue with the config og the gateway.
On top I can see the status claiming some issues. If you click on the action button, what comes up there?

Thanks for the reply from@mariussve1 ,please allow me to provide another insight:
Hi,@pthapa
Regarding the issue you raised, my solution is as follows:
Based on the information you provide, we speculate that the gateway you currently configured is unable to access the data source or the gateway version needs to be updated.
1.You can try to update the current version of the gateway first, as it is mentioned in the official documentation that only the latest six versions are currently supported.
Here is a screenshot of the official documentation:
Here are the official documents for this:

2.Second, I think you may need to reconfigure a gateway that can access the data source.
Here are the relevant documents:

3.Finally, this error can also occur due to expired cached credentials. Clear your internet browser cache, then sign in to Power BI and visithttps://app.powerbi.com?alwaysPromptForContentProviderCreds=true to force your credentials to be updated.

I updated the datasources to make sure they all are coming from the same source in desktop then published it again.
After that when I tried to edit the credentials, this is the error I am getting now.
Can someone please help.
