App workspaces vs group workspaces, what is the difference?

What is the difference between app workspaces and group workspaces? On the website it says " There’s a one-to-one relationship between the app and contents of the app workspace. Everything in the app...

    xbrenes New naming convention. Group Workspace = App Workspace. App Workspace is the new name, and it also extends itself in a new way by allowing you to publish the workspace as an App. That functionality is meant to phase out Content Packs. So in essence, you can use an App Workspace to consolidate and share to a wide audience by sharing dashboards. Or, you can share the entirety of the workspace in the form of an App.
