Hi,
I've noticed after updating the App with the new look (Content, Audience management), there's no longer a setting to choose the default Navigation pane size, which annoys my users, because they can no longer see the full name of the report pages and they have to manually re-size the pane every single time they open/refresh the App.
Here's what it used to look like, when I'd set the width, to ensure visibility upon open:
BEFORE UPDATE
And here's what it looks like every time we open it now, after the update:
AFTER UPDATE
Is the setting moved somewhere else or just outright removed? I can no longer see it and tried widening it in the content settings of the Update App page, but it doesn't work.
Hope anyone can help?

Hi @Toms_Bondars,
According to the reply from the product group, this is expected behavior. And they don’t provide an ability to switch back to old UI. If you don’t like that and had some functionality that you relied on, please file separate feature/design request in Power BI Ideas. Thanks for your understanding!

Hello, were there any updates to this one @v-cazheng-msft ?
The smaller left hand menu limitation has made our reporting suite a little less user friendly with this update with many of our tiles now shortened automationally with an ellipses. Ideally we'd love the optionality again to have the 3x different width settings for the PowerBI App Menu.
Thank you.
Hi Daniel,
As far as I can tell there hasn't been an option to resize added to the new UI yet.
I don't see it coming any time soon on the horizon either, I'm afraid.
I've had to rename my reports, to make the a lot shorter, but still run into re-sizing issues and text not being displayed in full. I've done the only thing I could and resent out a communication to all the users showing them how they can manually resize it by dragging it wider with their mouse. Unfortunately these re-sizings need to be done every time a report is open.

Yes its not ideal and annoying to have to rename all the reports to suit a a feature we did previously have.

Hi @Toms_Bondars,
Have reported this issue internally(ICM 332166843 ). Will check with the internal team whether we could have a way to do such setting.

Any update on this? Still no way to set the width, it automatically goes to the smallest size and no way to force it to be wider by default.
