Resolver IIApp Access overwriting Report Access (How to fix)
Hi community,
I have a question about Power BI apps. I have 1 workspace with for example 5 reports. I am the only person in the workspace. I give report access (only view) to 3 of the 5 reports in the workspace, I share these 3 links with my colleague and she can see only these 3 reports.
So the next thing I want to do is make an app. I make the app, and give access for this app to my colleague. But now my colleague can see all the 5 reports (from the workspace) in that app. So my report settings are overrulled by accessing the app.
I know I can fix it by using audiences, but I don't want to use audiences because I have over 30 AD-Groups that are only allowed to see different reports. And there is a limit of 10 audiences.
How can I change the app settings so that the app is not overwriting my report settings. So that by opening the app my colleague can only see 3 reports?
Could someone help me out?

Are your workspaces Premium? In that case you should give regular users only acess through the app. Workspace access must be limited to developers and UAT testers.
TK12345Thanks for your reply. Workspace is not premium, and the users only have acess through the app. But we gave them read permission on report level in the workspace. I give report access (only view) to 3 of the 5 reports in the workspace. I am the only one in the Workspace.
