Any workaround to allow downloading PBIX on Template Apps?

MSFT apparently changed how the template apps work and you can no longer edit them and go to download the PBIX file (as stated here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/costs/analyze-cost-data-azure-cost-ma...

Is there
1. Anyway to open the data source in the query editor in the service?  I need to split some columns

2. Anyway to download the template apps anyway or does MSFT publish the PBIX files of their own template apps somewhere?

Hi @OneWithQuestion

The way template apps work is that the publisher decides whether to enable download of the pbix. You can always edit a template app report or build new reports over the dataset.  You should contact Azure cost team if they can share.

Hi @OneWithQuestion

As far as I know this is by design when using a template app because it allows the author to retain their intellectual property.
