Any way to stop users from creating Data Connections???

In my tenant I have the settings such that only the Admin can create a Gateway.  However, I want the same control for Data Connections.  (Note - I am referring to creating a connection, not in tying a connection to a gateway.)  I do not want users to be able to create Data Connections as we have so many duplicate connections - just with different names....

Is there any way to stop users from creating connections?

If you are talking about all those personal connections that get created, then I do not believe there is a way to stop them from being created.  I wish there was.  I would like to block those personal connections and use shared cloud connections instead for better governance.

Hey @blopez11 ,

I am talking about any Data Connections - but, yes, those are quite annoying as well !  I just want to have ONLY the admin create Data Connections.

Only here as part of a Fabric POC but interested to see how this progresses.  The ability to create connections is tied to the Contributor role but I would like to see a separate role for creating ANY type of connection - the sprawl of workspaces I would be fine with but once those connections are consumed it will be a nightmare to police and unpick if necessary.  Show stopper in my opinion.
