Any way to recover a deleted Power BI report in a workspace?

Hello Everyone!

We had some report missing from a Power BI workspace, seemingly deleted. I'm wondering if there's any way to recover the deleted report? 

Any help on this would appreciated!

Unfortunately, once a Power BI report is deleted from a workspace, there is no native "undo" or recycle bin feature within the Power BI Service to recover it directly. Deleted reports are permanently removed unless you have a backup or version saved elsewhere, such as a .pbix file stored locally or in version control (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, or a source control system).

If the report was published from Power BI Desktop, the best option is to re-publish it using the original .pbix file. Additionally, if your organization uses Microsoft Purview or has auditing enabled via Microsoft 365 compliance tools, you may be able to track who deleted the report and when, but not restore it. Going forward, it’s a good practice to maintain regular backups of key reports to praevent loss from accidental deletions.
