Analyze in Excel (for a Dataset)
Hi Anonymous
Thanks for the information. I really appreciate your time.
That message is an error as far as I'm concerned, since it says it won't open my data on the desktop.
Can you tell me how I can make it work correctly the first time? It needs to download and open on the desktop. It is a bit silly that I have to issue the "analyze in excel" a second time before it does what I need.
Hi dbeavon3 ,
So far, this is the case for using this feature.
If you have a good suggestion, you can make it here Ideas (powerbi.com).
Thanks for your efforts & time in advance.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
You mentioned that it works the way it does because of my "OneDrive for Business." Is there any way to trick Power BI into thinking that I don't have OneDrive for Business? That is something that I don't use and didn't know I had.- dbeavon33 years agoMemorable Member

Hi, thanks for the reply.
If I can disable onedrive for business altogether, I would even go that far to fix this issue.
