Analyze in Excel (Missing columns)
Hello Eason,
Thank you for the response!
Please note my responses in highlight below:
Do you mean that in the "show details" sheet, you miss the columns that you have a relationship with to a lookup/dimension table?
Yes.
Please check if you can find the missing information in the header.
Yes! most of them are in header if I add them in the Pivot table as field. The ones that I didn't add as a field in pivot table are not in the header (but are in my Fact Table data).
- How can I have the fields in headers show as a column?
- How can I show the data from my fact table that are not fields in pivot table and are not in the header?
(These fields have a relationship with to a lookup/dimension table and do not show in header)
Did you find the answer of your question becuse i am also facing the same issue.
I created a star schema and uploaded it to Power Bi services. then downloaded the data using "Analyze in Excel".
When I double click a value in the Excel Pivot Table (from Analyze in Excel), the underlying data does not show. I want to know what settings or changes are required in Power BI so that users can see the detailed underlying data when they double click an amount in the pivot table.
