Analyze Feature - Power BI Service
Hey team, how are you?
I have this Dashboard which is composed by a headcount week by week.
I have estabilished a RLS, in order to different director see only their information, and not others.
While in my Power BI Desktop, I can use the Analyze feature to understand fluctuations, but as soon as a role is taken, the feature disapear.
Any ideas of why I am losing the ability to use this powerfull tool?
Hi BrunoMiranda From my understanding, the Analyze feature needs access to the full dataset, but RLS restricts data to subsets, disabling it for security reasons. You can work around this by pre-aggregating data in measures or using a non-RLS report for analysis.

Hi BrunoMiranda
Can you please give us more details as to where the analysis feature is not working, or a screenshot so that we can assist you better?
Also, you will need to make sure that you have added the users to the role once you uploaded to the power bi service. Here are more details. Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
