Analyze Excel is not working WithOut VPN

Hi,

 

We have created Live connection to SSAS tabular model(On-Premises) and published into Power BI Service and created the Gateway to refresh the model, and it's working as expected, and In Office network, and in Home with VPN we will able to Analyse Excel to that model.

 

But With Out VPN from Home we will not able to see any Pivot feilds, we just see as MODEL.

 

Since my end user needs to connect through only Internet connection, the way we are coonecting through Power BI service.

    You cannot, because your source for the report is SSAS on prem. There is no data in the service. It is connected via a Live Connection through your gateway. So a VPN is required for end users. End users cannot use tools like Analyze in Excel through the gateway for security reasons.
